1. Services

Jade Proposals offers custom wedding proposal planning services, including venue sourcing, concept creation, vendor coordination, and event management in Amsterdam, Marbella and surrounding areas. Specific services and inclusions will be outlined in your individual booking confirmation.

2. Quotes & Pricing
After our consultation, you will receive a tailored quote consisting of:

• Proposal budget: the costs of bringing your proposal to life, such as venue, floral styling, décor, and photography.

• Planning & coordination fee: our service from first concept to the moment itself.

All prices are in euros and exclude 21% VAT unless stated otherwise. Quotes are valid for 7 days.

3. Booking & Payment

• Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total quoted amount is required to confirm your booking.

• Final Payment: The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled event date.

• Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer, debit card, and credit card. Payment details will be provided upon confirmation.

4. Right of Withdrawal

Because our services are booked for a specific date, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to your booking. Cancellations are handled according to section 7.

5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate and timely information necessary for planning.

• Respond promptly to communications.

• Assist with permissions we cannot obtain on your behalf (for example, access to a private home or property). Where permit coordination is included in your booking, we will arrange the necessary permits for public locations.

6. Vendor & Venue Arrangements
Jade Proposals works with a network of trusted third-party vendors. While we coordinate and manage these relationships on your behalf, all third-party services are subject to the vendors’ own terms and availability. We are not liable for vendor performance or availability. You are welcome to use your own vendors, but this must be communicated in advance.

7. Cancellations & Postponements

If you cancel

Cancellations are non-refundable. Any payments already made, including the deposit, will not be returned. If you cancel before the final payment is due, the remaining balance is no longer owed.

If you want to reschedule
You can move your proposal to a new date within one month of the original date, subject to vendor availability. Please let us know as soon as possible. Payments already made will be carried over to the new date. Any extra fees charged by vendors for rebooking are your responsibility.

 

If the weather or other circumstances get in the way

If extreme weather or circumstances beyond anyone’s control get in the way, we will do everything I can to adapt the plan or find a new date, at no extra planning fee. Some vendor bookings, such as hotels or venues, may not be refundable or changeable once confirmed. Any costs that cannot be recovered from vendors are non-refundable, but I will always try to keep these to a minimum.​

 

If we cancel
In the unlikely event that Jade Proposals must cancel and no suitable alternative can be offered, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

8. Confidentiality
We understand that your proposal is a surprise. We treat all details of your plans with complete discretion and will never contact your partner unless you have asked us to.

9. Photos and Videos
Photos and videos taken during your proposal may be used on our website, social media, and other promotional materials. By signing our agreement form, you agree to this use of your images. If you do not want your photos or videos to be used, please let us know before signing the agreement, and we will adjust your contract accordingly.

 

10. Liability

• We put every effort into creating an unforgettable moment, but we cannot guarantee your partner’s answer or reaction. The outcome of the proposal does not affect the fees due.

• Jade Proposals is not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, vendor issues, or force majeure events. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule where possible.

• We are not responsible for property damage, personal injury, or losses incurred during or related to the event, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence.

• Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client for our services.

• Nothing in these terms limits liability where this is not permitted by law.

 

11. Intellectual Property
All concepts, mood boards, written content, and creative ideas provided by Jade Proposals remain our intellectual property. Clients are granted a limited-use licence strictly for their personal event. Reproduction or resale is prohibited.

 

12. Privacy & Data Protection
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. You can read it at jadeproposals.com/privacypolicy.

 

13. Changes to Terms
Jade Proposals reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Bookings already confirmed remain subject to the terms in place at the time of booking.

 

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
